CanonMedicinae is a university learning platform that helps medical students organise study and revision. Some materials and tools are still being developed or tested and may change or temporarily stop during development. The platform is not a university or hospital and does not award academic degrees or professional accreditation.
Account and access security
You must provide accurate information as required to create an account, protect your login details, and not share your account or invitation and recovery links. You are responsible for activity from your account and should notify us through the contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to harm others, exceed your permissions, disrupt the service, test vulnerabilities without written authorisation, engage in academic dishonesty, or upload materials you do not have the right to use. Entering patient names, record numbers or health data that can identify real people is prohibited.
Medical and educational content
Content is intended for learning and revision and is not diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for approved references or supervision by a qualified professional. Evidence and guidance can change over time; check the source and its update date. Read the Medical and educational disclaimer before relying on any material.
Intellectual property and sources
Platform content, design and software remain protected for their rights holders, and external sources retain their owners' rights. Personal educational use within the platform is permitted. Large-scale copying, republication, sale or removal of attribution is not permitted without express permission or a licence allowing it.
Data and privacy
We process account and learning data as necessary to operate and protect the service and improve the experience. The Privacy notice explains the types of data, their purposes and account-holder options. Note-taking tools must not be used to store patient data or highly sensitive information.
Service availability and account management
We aim to provide a stable experience but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of all features, particularly experimental tools. Access may be temporarily restricted to protect the platform, perform maintenance or address breaches of these terms. Users can manage their accounts and request support through the platform's published channels.
